Ribosomes are packets of RNA
and Protein. They are the site of protein synthesis which allows for the messenger RNA from the cell nucleus to be moved systematically
along the ribosomes where transfer RNA adds individual amino acid molecules to the lengthening protein chain. Ribosomes are
too small to be seen under a light microscope and appear as random dots as free ribosomes and spots in a line as bound ribosomes
under an electron microscope.
